This week I was sent a wonderful box of fresh, organic ingredients by Riverford Organic. The box contained all of the ingredients for three meals. One of my favourite things about these recipe boxes is the minimal waste. We waste so much food every single day, it’s just awful. We’re all guilty of it – including me! It’s not just food waste, it’s all of the plastic too. Every time I buy vegetables from the supermarkets they’re tightly wrapped in plastic, which I totally don’t want or need. The vegetables that come in the Riverford box have minimal packaging which is great to see.
I’ve always been intrigued by recipe boxes, but I didn’t realise just how great they could be for midweek meals. I don’t know about you, but there’s nothing worse than spending the day contemplating what to cook for dinner. I realise that is very much a first world problem, but it is a (small) problem nonetheless! Therefore, it was so nice to have all of the ingredients and recipes all ready for me! Each meal was honestly so delicious. The combination of flavours and spices have been so well thought out. I will definitely be making these meals again. I don’t think I can even pick a favourite as they were all equally as yummy as each other.

*I was sent this product for free, but as always all opinions are my own. I only ever talk about products or brands that are in line with own personal values.
