My Essential Skincare & Make-up Products

I’m quite fussy when it comes to make-up and skincare, as my skin tends to be dry and sensitive. However, once I’ve found a product I love then I’ll use it every single day until I’m bored of it. I do that with food too – I’ll eat something again and again until I’m sick of the sight of it! I’m not sure what that says about my personality. There’s probably some deep, psychological reason for that behaviour… uh-oh! Anyway, I thought I’d share some of my current favourite skincare and make-up products with you. These products suit my dry and sensitive skin, but obviously everyone is different.

Green People – Fruit Scrub Exfoliator

It’s great to help combat dry, flaky skin. This time of the year can really upset the balance of my skin, but I find this exfoliator leaves my skin lovely and soft after use. It’s not harsh like some scrubs which is perfect for me, as in the past when I’ve used other scrubs my skin has been left red and sore.

Elemis – Pro-Collagen Marine Cream

I only use this on my forehead as this is where I can see some fine lines This moisturiser is very nourishing and helps to improve the elasticity of the skin within 14 days, reducing the appearance of fine line and wrinkles.

Elemis – Hydra-Boost Day Cream

This is my go-to moisturiser. I find it hydrating, but not too rich that it causes more breakouts. However, I have noticed in the last couple of weeks that I’ve needed to apply more than usual. I think the cold weather is increasing the dryness of my skin. I may have to look for a more intensive moisturiser for this weather.

Dr Lipp. Original – Nipple Balm For Dry Skin

This wonderful little gloss is pretty cool! It’s great for nips, lips and any dry bits! It’s 100% natural so it’s perfect if you’re looking for a nipple balm for those cracked nips when breastfeeding. I use it on my lips under lipstick or just on it’s own as it has a lovely shine.

Charlotte Tilbury – Wonder Glow Beauty Flash Primer

This primer does what it says on the pack – provides you with a wonderful glow. It’s shimmery and hydrating. It illuminates from within under foundation or you can put it under your eyes or over your cheekbones over foundation.

Charlotte Tilbury – K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick: Penelope Pink

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know how much I love this shade. The nude pink goes well with most looks, but looks perfect with a peachy/bronze look.

Benefit – Brow Zings

I love Benefit and this little brow kit is just perfect! It has everything you need to achieve beautiful brows – mini tweezers, sculpt/define brush for the wax and a fill brush for the powder. It also has a little mirror so you can your brows on the go!

Bellapierre – Banana Setting Powder

This product has recently become very popular thanks to the likes of Kim Kardashian. I have to say, I’m also a big fan. It can be used to set your make up, conceal marks or get rid of those dark circles under the eyes. I always have dark circles and I swear by this product for making me look less like dawn of the dead!!
